I never cease to be amazed by the majestic water’s ability to instantaneously wash all the grime and cares away and revitalize the soul.

I have enjoyed the replenishing waters of Barton Springs throughout my life. My favorite photo of my grandparents is on the hillside of Barton Springs in the 1940’s. I have experienced different aspects of the springs as a child, teenager, college student, and now as a parent. I never cease to be amazed by the majestic water’s ability to instantaneously wash all the grime and cares away and revitalize the soul. It is a sacred place to me and I hope many future generations can experience its wonders. I am thankful that Living Springs will be sharing the stories of the many Austinites who stood together to protect this remarkable resource and will help educate others about what they can do to help.
